Tacky Jacks Causeway Location Has Great Burgers
Tacky Jacks is the Place to Go in the Moble Bay Area!
Are you looking a unique and tasty – extremely local – dining experience? Tacky Jacks is the place to go. Since this is a wildly popular, rapidly growing chain, there are several delightful restaurants to choose from – Causeway, Orange Beach, Fort Morgan, Gulf Shores and a fifth is set to open this month in Panama City.
Because it is so popular, if you’re worried about having to wait to eat, the Tacky Jacks Causeway has lots of elbow room with 560 seating capacity (260 seated upstairs and 300 more downstairs).
You’ll find an array of menu items featuring loaded seafood themed platters and combo plates featuring a popular fish (mahi-mahi) taco served with cheese, lettuce and Mr. Jack’s “special spicy sauce”. Shrimp tacos are also available and all are dressed up with a homemade remoulade sauce using lettuce and tomatoes instead of cabbage.
“Jack’s Burger World” is extremely popular and Tacky Jacks Causeway has added five new options to their burger menu. All are standard items including bacon cheeseburger, an eye-watering southwest burger with jalapenos and jack cheese, and for the sons of the deep South, a burger topped with barbeque sauce.
You’ll want to start your dining experience off right, whether you walk-in or dock by ordering your favorite alcoholic beverage from their full-service bar (which is open in the morning). You may just want to order the killer version of that Lower Alabama standard — the Bushwacker. Add an appetizer like the requisite buffalo chicken and shrimp, fried dill pickles and gator bites or softshell crabs, crawfish tails and smoked tuna dip.
If you feel extremely adventurous at this point, you may want to try one of Tacky Jack’s Causeway signature dishes, the “Mexican Garbage”, which is the ultimate beef and cheese nachos featuring meat, two cheeses, tomatoes, black olives and onions. It has evolved into a big pile of nachos.
Tacky Jacks is open from 6:30 am until late into the evening. So, if you want to try breakfast at Tacky Jacks, you will not be disappointed in their menu. They offer a “Farmer’s Omelet” which includes potatoes, onions, green peppers, mushrooms, sausage and ham, plus American and cheddar cheeses – a true king of the early morning entrées. They also offer quite an array of other breakfast items like the usual biscuits, gravy and grits.
