Orange Beach Condo with Boat Slip For Sale
There are quite a few Orange Beach condo boat slip options to choose from. Being born and raised in Baldwin County, a professional realtor for over 10 years and an avid boater, I have definite preferences on this subject. Yet, as is the case with most of us, our options are going to often be narrowed by our finances. Thus, I will describe for you, in detail, my top 3 developments with boat slips with prices ranging close to 1 million down to the low $300K range.
Bayshore Towers has been at the top of my list for years. It is one of the most unique condominium developments on the Alabama Gulf Coast, as it not only offers gated access but also more common area space than its competitors. There is ample green space to walk you dog and the tennis courts are located in a beautifully natural setting, surrounded by mature landscaping. The property is so long, that you actually have to drive down into it to get to the twin towers overlooking Terry Cove. The property amenities are great, with multiple pools, to include and indoor exercise pool, as well as a fitness room. In addition to the marina, the beautiful property, and the high-end amenities, you also get something else that is hard to find at many of our coastal condo projects, a more laid relaxed atmosphere. Bayshore Towers is rent restricted, meaning that there are not short-term renters running all over the place, which is huge for folks who are looking for more of a second home environment as opposed to an rental investment opportunity.

If I had some pretty deep pockets, I would also be looking very strongly at Bella Luna. Bella Luna is also gated and has a “best of both worlds” location in my opinion, as you can jump on your boat and head out for a day of world class deep sea fishing in the Gulf of Mexico or utilize the deeded beach access to chill out in the sand with the family all day until the sand castles are sacked by the incoming tide. I also appreciate the contemporary design of the building, from the architecture to the sleek features inside the units. The floor plans are awesome, offering more of the privacy and comforts of home at the beach. The balcony’s are massive and the view of Ono Island and the back bays of Orange Beach, get better and better the further the elevator takes you. At night, you have the twinkling lights from the surrounding residences to captivate your imagination.

Phoenix on the Bay is ultimately where I would invest my money, should my disposable income grow to a stature that would justify such a sound investment! The units are very affordable and I have a buddy from high school that owns a unit at Phoenix on the Bay II, who keeps his unit rented enough to cover all his annual expenses and condo fees and still get to enjoy the unit for several weeks out of the year. I have small children and the outdoor amenity package is ideal for them, with a pool, water slide and lazy river. I also really appreciate the location of the development down Canal Road towards Bayshore Towers. The secret about Alabama having beaches on par with Florida has long since been out and we experience more tourism every year, yet once you get far enough down Canal Road the sleepiness of the little beach community that once was, rears it lazy little head and life, along with the hustle of vacation traffic, slows down to a more manageable pace.
