Born Identity, Part 3: When we place our value in the hands of others, we become a victim of circumstance. Playing the victim is much easier than having to say you’re sorry and owning up to who we are and what we do. A victim mentality is a shameful cover-up, that makes us question our value and distances us from an authentic relationship with him. The reality is that our true identity can only be found through the process of surrender. The decision to live in surrender is the most important step we can take toward his grace. It marks our life with his purpose and gives us the passion to be a spokesman for his movement to love, honor and cherish, even in the face of destruction.
