Once we entered the home, it was clear to us on how much time and effort was put into the design and craftsmanship of this luxurious residence. The kitchen was custom built from the ground up. Featuring everything from custom double dutch stoves, a bread warmer, pull out spice racks, and a custom fridge to blend in to the cabinets, the kitchen was truly breathtaking. The counters were custom made from soap stone with an under mounted hammered copper sink. The detail work in the wood work on the counters was unbelievable. There seem to be a new little surprise around every corner of this kitchen. The bottom of the cabinets even featured a built in pull out step stool to reach those high places while still keeping the feel and integrity of the traditional kitchen.

Completing the tour with the owner’s was a fabulous idea because being able to see and hear first-hand about the building process and all of the planning, gave the team insight to the heart and soul that went into the makings of this home. There was no lack for luxury or convenience when planning this dream home, while still maintaining the cozy country home feel. The owner stated that she wanted the home to feel like it had been here forever while still providing modern amenities. The team and I truly felt like we got the royal treatment touring this home.

At the end of our tour we asked the owners a few questions about why they chose to build in The Estates and what they enjoyed about the community. They explained that they had previously owned a smaller home towards the front of the community and that when they decided to move down full-time from Atlanta, they were looking for a community that offered all of the golf course amenities that Craft Farms does, as well as provided them with the opportunity to have a lake front property. They stated that they loved the community feeling while still maintaining their privacy. The clubhouse offers plenty of events and social gatherings while meeting the husband’s needs for his love of golf.
