City of Foley

As one of the fastest growing cities in the Southeast, the City of Foley, also known as the “Forward City” offers many unique ways to enrich your life. L ocated only eight miles north of the Gulf of Mexico, Foley is picturesque along with being the economic center of South Baldwin County.  Foley residents are very tied to their community and many are active in their religious beliefs, as well.

Foley, is located about fifty minutes from Mobile, Alabama and about twenty minutes from Pensacola. Foley is a great place to live if you work in Pensacola.

With ten parks, eight tennis courts, and fourteen athletic fields, residents who live in Foley have no shortage of recreation sources, including an active summer recreation program and Senior Center. The Civic Center, Performing Arts Association, and two museums round out Foley’s cultural activities.

Excellent restaurants off­er a variety of ethnic cuisine and local seafood favorites. Offering everything from Ruby Tuesday Restaurant to Gelato Joe’s Foley will capture your taste buds with its variety of choices.

Foley is well-known for its Tanger Outlet Mall, which offers unique antique stores, specialty shops, a nature preserve, state of the art recreational facilities, and a historic downtown. Historically speaking,  Baldwin County’s diverse heritage and fine art can be explored in one of the town’s many museums, such as the Foley Train Museum in this friendly community.
