I was introduced to Tami in 2019. I was told she had a compelling story to tell and that she’d make an excellent guest on my Impact Agent Podcast. Today, I’m proud to call her friend. She has so much hope, love, and joy to offer the world, not to mention her expertise in health and fitness. It is my honor to offer this virtual introduction to the unbreakable, Tami Lindsey.
Tami moved to Fairhope almost four years ago with three of her six sons, after one of her sons began working at City Hope Church. She immediately fell in love with the friendly, small town atmosphere; and knew that this would be the perfect place to build her personal training business. Her other three sons, along with her daughter in law, eventually moved to Fairhope as well. Her family has faced many challenges, but they’ve stuck together and persevered through it all. She believes that every day is a new opportunity to be a better person and to make the world a better place.
Tami is a local personal trainer who specializes in functional fitness training. Functional training prepares the body for strength in daily activities. This type of training is important for everyone from athletes to senior citizens. Tami helps her clients build strength, balance, and mobility, through full body workouts which are custom designed for each individual. She cares very much for her clients, and is very passionate about meeting people where they are physically to help them to become the best version of themselves. She develops personal relationships with her clients and actually helps them change their lives for the better. Tami’s private gym space is near downtown Fairhope. She does one on one, small group, and online training.
Tami’s very personal story of both tragedy and triumph is far too powerful to be delivered secondhand. You must listen to it audibly, in her own words via our podcast interview provided below. As she unfolds the story, keep her motto in mind: “I believe that every day is a new opportunity to be a better person and to make the world a better place.”
“We are given one life, one body, one opportunity to make the most of the gift that God has given us.”- Tami Lindsey
