Agent: How did you know this was the home you were meant to buy?
Seller: “We knew this was the house for us because we loved the setting across from the pond. We had visions of us sitting on the front porch in the morning having our tea and a glass of wine in the evenings. We love it!”
Agent: Were schools a factor in your decision to purchase this home?
Seller: “Although we do not have any school age children, we did consider the schools. The nearby schools are excellent and so close by. It’s definitely a plus for anyone with children in middle school or high school.”
Agent: What have become your top 5-10 favorite features of the home?
Seller: “The top 5 features of the home are:
* Front wrap around porch with beautiful view. Nice covered patio in back also.

Agent: Where do you find yourself spending the most time in the home and why?
Seller: “We spend most of our time in the kitchen and den. My husband does most of the cooking and I like to be in the den close by. We also spend time on the front porch and back patio.”
Agent: What are your favorite grocery stores and shops in the area?
Seller: “Our favorite grocery store is Publix on Hwy 98. We also frequently shop at the Winn-Dixie and Walmart. Also, when we need “Louisiana” products, we go to Rouses in Spanish Fort. Some favorite shops are Pat Norton’s Architect Consignment Shop on Twin Beech Road and the Southern Antique Mall on Hwy 98. Any of the shops in Fairhope are great and fun to shop. Our favorite restaurant is Gambino’s in Fairhope and and we also enjoy Felix’s on the Bay.”
Agent: Any interests or hobbies you enjoy on or near the property?
Seller: “As far as hobbies go, we like to play golf and tennis. We like the Quail Creek golf course because it’s not too difficult. The Rock Creek course is also beautiful although a bit tougher…for me at least! We don’t play tennis very often but have played at the Fairhope public courts and they are fine for our level of play. The whole area is so beautiful, just walking around the neighborhood is a pleasure.”
Agent: What will you miss most about living in or owning this property, as well as the surrounding community?
Seller: “The thing I will miss most about living here is the beauty of the area. I’m from Louisiana where the topography is very flat. Although most people would not consider Fairhope very hilly, from my perspective it is! I just love it and will miss it very much. Also, Fairhope is a wonderful community with wonderful people. I’ve developed friendships with some great people and will greatly miss them. We attend St. Lawrence Catholic Church. St. Lawrence is a wonderful parish with a vibrant faith family. I will cherish the friends I’ve made there and hope to stay in touch with them all.”
Agent: If you don’t mind me asking, why have you decided to sell your home?
Seller: “We are moving because my husband is retiring at the end of March. We’re from Louisiana and all of our family is there. My parents are elderly and I want to be close to them now. If I could, I’d move all of them here and stay!”
