Jason: What were the deciding factors that led you to buy this home?
Seller: “We have always liked newer homes because we appreciate being able to move in without having to do much. This house offered that. We also liked the layout of the house, knowing we would be starting a family and needed space to grow.”
Jason: Was there anything specific about your home that you found attractive as buyers?
Seller: “We loved the openness of the living room. It has given us a lot of space to play with our daughter. We also loved the big master bedroom and the other rooms that are perfect for the nursery and guest room.”
Jason: What are the top 5 to 10 selling features of the home in your opinion?
Seller: “Wonderful neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Quiet road, not much traffic. Laminate floors through the whole house. New paint in every room, easy to match neutral colors. Big walk in closet in master. Spacious living room. Plenty of front and back yard to play in.”
Jason: On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate the location and why?
Seller: “I would give the location an 8. The neighborhood is newer, with houses still being built. We love Robertsdale because it is central to the rest of Baldwin county. Only a 20 minute drive to Fairhope, Daphne, or Foley. It’s also close enough to the beach that you can go for the day, but not have to deal with the beach traffic on a daily basis.”
Jason: Where do you find yourself spending the most time in the home and why?
Seller: “I spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking meals for my family, but we also spend most of our time together in the living room.”
Jason: What improvements have you made to the property since the purchase?
Seller: “We painted the whole house, replaced the air conditioner motor, replaced the back door frame, and improved the landscaping.”
Jason: What are your favorite places to shop in the area?
Seller: “There’s a brand new Wal-Mart less than 5 minutes away. There are also some good local shops in town. I like being close to Tanger outlets in Foley and the nice mall in Spanish fort.”
Jason: Where do y’all really love to eat out close to home?
Seller: “We love GooRoo’s and Willy T’s. For the best pizza, Vitolli’s is highly recommended. We will really miss it.”
Jason: Any interests or hobbies you enjoy near your home?
Seller: “We really enjoy taking walks through the trails that go through all of Robertsdale. On hot days we like to take our daughter to the splash pad at the park.”
Jason: Average utility costs in summer and winter?
Seller: “Our water bill is usually $60-$70. Electric runs from $120-$150 on the hottest months.”
Jason: What will you miss most about living in or owning this property?
Seller: “We will really miss this neighborhood. We have loved watching it grow and develop. The house has been perfect for us and our growing family. I’ll miss sitting on the shady front porch in the afternoons watching the summer storms come through.”
Jason: Why are you moving?
Seller: “Moving to Mobile County to be closer to my husband’s job. He is a teacher in Semmes.”
