Jason:  “What were the deciding factors that led you to purchase 33 Haven Drive?”

Sellers:  “We wanted a newer one-level house that had modern amenities and lots of extras.  Privacy was also very important to us and we did not want to be physically located too close to our next door neighbors.  This house just seemed to have everything we were looking for!”

Jason: “What have you come to love about this home?”

Sellers: “The kitchen is to die for, with two large islands along with a full size wet bar all integrated with the keeping room making a perfect buffet area for serving holiday dinners or parties for a crowd.  Both sides of the 3 sets of double doors exiting onto the back screened veranda can be opened up for parties, or to just enjoy a good weather day. Watching the sunset on our screened in veranda that runs almost the length of the house while listening to music playing from our indoor/outdoor sound system.  This is also our favorite spot to read and we often dine by candlelight when on cool evenings.  When we have guests stay at the house, I really appreciate having a completely private master bedroom suite that can be closed off from the rest of the house with its own outdoor entrance.”

Jason: “Where do you find yourself spending the most time in the home?”

Sellers: “The kitchen and keeping room area or the back veranda.  We can cook, dine, watch TV,  read, and watch the wildlife at the same time from those rooms since they are all incorporated together.”

Jason: “Have you made any improvements to the home?”

Sellers:  “Yes, we added Solanna designer cellular window shades on every door and window.  We Repainted the entire interior and painted the exterior trim.  We also had a new refrigerator installed in November of this year.”

Jason: “What are your favorite places to shop in town?”

Sellers: “I prefer to get my groceries at Publix but often run to the Super Wal-mart just because it is a little closer.  I love to furniture shop at Malouf and if we are in need of clothes, I really enjoy the Tanger Outlet in Foley.”

Jason: “What are your average utility bills in summer and winter?”

Sellers: “In the summer we pay around $350 per month and in the winter it drops to the upper $200 range.”

Jason: “Finally, what will you miss about life in The Peninsula?”

Sellers: “We will miss living so close to the beach and having access to fresh gulf seafood whenever we want.  There is a seafood market right around the corner. We will miss our neighbors most of all and the fun we have every year at holiday parties hosted at the club.  The Peninsula attracts interesting people from all over the world and we have made some great friends.”
