One of our past clients had to leave her Loma Alta Townhome in Daphne for Mobile, Alabama and called us to see if we could help her procure either a buyer or a tenant. We asked our seller to provide some specific information about life at Loma Alta, in addition to the obvious fact that the location could not be more convenient to shopping, dining and Interstate 10. You can read her story in her own words below.

I bought my towhhome in Daphne because I am getting older and need more of a maintenance free lifestyle. I fell in love with the location and the beauty of the Daphne area, with slow rolling hills, sweeping bay views and some of the most gorgeous sunsets I have ever seen. I also appreciated the Loma Alta amenities like the private courtyard, outdoor swimming pool, reserved parking and security lighting. Soon after I moved in, I made lots of friends in this wonderful community of friendly people.
I love having a corner unit, as they are typically larger and offer a little more privacy. I have enjoyed having hardwood floors and the high ceilings make the unit feel so open and spacious. I spend most of my time on the private courtyard because I love the outdoors and the mature trees surrounding the community provide a safe haven for birds and squirrels. There are lots of hummingbirds as well.
I made extensive improvements to my Loma Alta townhome, including changing all doors and hardware including sliding exterior doors, upgrading the kitchen appliances to stainless steel and installed kitchen new countertops. I refitted both baths with tile surrounds and new tubs, lavatories and lighting fixtures. I have also done extensive interior painting.
I like shopping at the Publix nearby and the new Fresh Market. I like the nail salon, movie theater, Hobby Lobby, Home Depot, and Chill in Jubilee Square. My grandchildren love it when I take them to Bass Pro shop. I love to go to the Brown Bag in May Day Park and the Sunset Concerts at Bayfront Park, as well as holiday concerts at the Daphne Civic Center. I also go to the public library often, since I love to read. The Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay is such a wonderful place to live.
