For an up-close glimpse into life at 22572 Adams Drive, please review the following interview between the Seller and her Jason Will Real Estate Agent.  Avail yourself to valuable insight about the surrounding community, local shopping and dining favorites and even utility costs!

Agent:  How did you know this was the home you were meant to buy?

Seller:  “Actually we built the house. The land was bought because it was on the best street in Robertsdale and in one of the most established neighborhoods in the area. It was also very close to the school.”

Agent:  Were schools a factor in your decision to purchase this home?

Seller:  “Yes, of course the schools were a factor. We were very close to the elementary and high schools in the area as well as the Catholic school at St. Patricks.”

Agent:  What have become your top 5-10 favorite features of the home?

Seller:  “This is a great house with so many things that are wonderful about it. It has so much storage space. There is a place for everything. I also love the open floor plan. I can be cooking dinner and still interact with everyone while doing so. We have plenty of room that no-one gets in the way. The wrap around porch is another great feature of the house. I love to sit on the porch swing in the mornings and enjoy the quiet. The kids having their own area at the top of the stairs is also nice. If they want to play games or watch a movie while something else in going on downstairs they have the freedom to do that. Being close to the walking trail is also a huge bonus to living here, whether you want to ride your bike, run, walk the dog, or just head up to town, you are safe and have a sidewalk at all times.”

Agent:  Where do you find yourself spending the most time in the home and why?

Seller:  “Most of the time is spent in the combo kitchen/family area. We like to play board games, watch movies and play let’s Dance. This provides the space we need to spend family time together.”

Agent:  What improvements have you made to the home or property over the years?

Seller:  “We built the house and have not really had much to do over time except plant some plants and beautify the place. We did add the fence for the dog at some point after we moved in.”

Agent:  What are your favorite grocery stores and shops in the area?

Seller:  “There are a few stores to choose from in the area. Winn Dixie is just right up the road and they have a nice clean store. WalMart was just opened a couple blocks further than WinnDixie and they have everything you will need.”

Agent:  Any interests or hobbies you enjoy on or near the property?

Seller:  “We enjoy being active and the neighborhood allows for us to bike on the bike/run trail. We also run on the trail too. The school is close and they have a nice playground that the kids enjoy playing on.”

Agent:  Average utility costs in summer and winter?

Seller:  “The utility costs are very low for the size of the house. There is one bill that covers water, trash and electricity. In the summer the bill will run anywhere between $170-$220 and in the winter it averages between $130-$150. We are very conservative on our electric use  and have only had 2-3 people residing the past few years.”

Agent:  What will you miss most about living in or owning this property, as well as the surrounding community?

Seller:  “I love this house and will miss everything about it. I love the kitchen and how it is set up for cooking and enjoying my family. I love the wrap around porch and how we can enjoy our yard and neighborhood while getting some cover. The open space and layout of the house is perfect for spending time as a family as well as finding some privacy when needed. The neighbors are  quiet and pleasant. I’m going to miss the walking trail as well as how convenient everything is from this house. The grocery store is only a couple minutes away and you can get to the beach in about 45 minutes. The interstate is super close and Mobile and Pensacola are equally distant. I actually get kind of sad thinking about moving from this place, I love so much about it and there really isn’t anything that I don’t like about living here.”

Agent:  If you don’t mind me asking, why have you decided to sell your home?

Seller:  “This is a great house, it is a house that deserves a big growing family to enjoy it. My girls are in college and the house is just too big now. The rooms are empty and no one is enjoying all it has to offer. It is time to downsize and let another family enjoy all this house has to offer. I know that the next family that owns this house will love it as much as we have.”
