Jason:  “What were the deciding factors that drove you to purchase this particular home?”

Seller: “I really liked how nice  and quiet the neighborhood was.  There is little through traffic to speak of, as most of the traffic is just the residents living here, or someone looking for a home to purchase.  I don’t fish much but I was immediately impressed with the size and attractiveness of the fishing lake.  I also new it would be a great feature to help grow and sustain Lakeland.  There is a boat launch located next to the clubhouse.  There are bass, crappie and bream in the lake. No gasoline motors are allowed on the lake, trolling motors only, which keeps down the noise level of the fisherman and prevents any oil or gas getting into the lake from a spill or leak.  My house is located on a street at the back of the subdivision and has a cul-de-sac at each end so it receives very little vehicle traffic.  As far as the house goes, I really liked the floor plan.  The huge open space that hits you right when you walk in really sold me!”

Jason: “What improvements have you made to the home since you have owned it?”

Seller: :“Since purchasing the home I have installed a privacy fence around the entire backyard and planted trees across the back and one side, which now is showing it’s true value since they are building three new homes behind me, the mature trees offer even more privacy now. There is also a utility shed in the back yard. Installed a garage door opener and alarm system, which at this time is not being used. A window blind package was also added to the home. A Kenmore over the range microwave was added as was an upgraded dishwasher, the kitchen sink was changed from the original 61/2″ deep to a 8 `1/2″ inch deep with a new faucet and garbage disposal upgrade. Upgraded faucets, towel racks and tile has been added to both bathrooms. Ceiling fans have been installed in all four bedrooms and the living room, all of which are remote control except the one in the master bedroom. Within the past two months all interior walls, doors and trim have been painted, new carpet installed last week and flooring in both bathrooms, kitchen, breakfast nook, laundry room and hall have been installed within the past month along with new shoe molding. New light fixtures were installed on the front porch, foyer, dining room , kitchen and hallway.”

Jason: “What are your favorite rooms in the house?”

Seller: “My favorite rooms are the living room and master bedroom due to their size and the open feeling n both areas. To be honest I will also miss the “water closet” as I have come to appreciate the privacy it offers.”

Jason: “Why are you selling?”

Seller: “My only reason for selling is my desire to move to an active adult retirement community in Florida. I will miss this home as I will not find one with the features it offers in a community in Florida. I will also miss my neighbors and the friends I have made while living here.”
