Iberville Square… Foley, Alabama… Quite possibly the nicest, most family-friendly place to call home.
Both the neighborhood and the town offer such convenience, warm-heartedness, and quality that you will never want to leave. Your kind and caring neighbors in Iberville Square, as well as your closeness to an endless variety of shops and restaurants and entertainment facilities, will make you feel like the area was especially designed for you. Fine dining and fast food, supermarkets and convenience stores are all at your fingertips. In under 8 minutes you can get to: Tanger Outlets, Walmart, Foley High School, or Foley Sports & Tourism Complex. And of course you can’t forget about Foley Beach Express, for close and easy access to the beach! Talk about helpful!
The residence itself is perfect for a cozy starter home, but great for a growing family as well. A well-designed floor plan really maximizes square footage, and you will be pleased with the general layout—especially the openness between kitchen and family room. Serve food buffet-style at the fine Bar Counter, or set a table in the Sunlit Breakfast Area—or both! In both the Great Room and Master Bedroom you have a Trey Ceiling and Ceiling Fan, with pretty Crown Molding for added style. The Master Bath features Ceramic Tile, large Garden Tub with Separate Shower, His-and-Her Sinks, and a Huge Window for Sunshine at all times. It’s the little things that make home so special, and this place is full of them!
Outdoors is as pleasing as indoors, too! From a Side-Entry Double Garage to a Covered Front Porch and Sitting Area, to an Open Back Patio overlooking a Privacy-Fenced Backyard, this lot has just what you need. Up for landscaping, anyone? Both the front garden beds and the grassy back yard are bursting with potential—think of an empty canvas just waiting for some artist (with a green thumb!) to come along! And you can even enjoy the benefits of a Sprinkler System to grow your landscaping masterpiece. This pleasant home needs only one thing: someone to absolutely love it!!

Agent: How did you know this was the home you were meant to buy?
Seller: “When we were looking to buy a home back in 2009 we looked everywhere, we knew we wanted to be close to the beach but also close to shopping and restaurants. We stumbled upon Iberville Square, it was a new neighborhood and probably had 5 houses in it, and we were back here all by ourselves for a long time.”
Agent: Were schools a factor in your decision to purchase this home?
Seller: “Not really, we have small kids that are just now getting into kindergarten, the schools in the area are good but that wasn’t a deciding factor for us.”
Agent: What have become your top 5-10 favorite features of the home?
Seller: “I love our yard! We love to landscape and keep things fresh and colorful. I love the kitchen opening up into the family room, its makes gathering easy, you can still talk to everyone. The front room is used as playroom for us so I enjoy having a space for my kids to play. I love being outside so our back patio is used all the time, we have made some great memories back there, both our kids have had each birthday party at our house, there has been a lot of laughs and smiles. My favorite feature would be layout of our home, I think it has a nice flow and I love that we have a side entrance garage.”
Agent: Where do you find yourself spending the most time in the home and why?
Seller: “On the weekend we are in the back yard or front yard playing and in the evenings we are either in the playroom or living room all cozy on the couch.”
Agent: What improvements have you made to the home or property over the years?
Seller: “We had our sprinkler system installed when we were building, we have replaced the front door to give more light, we have faux wood blinds throughout the house, and we replaced the dishwasher and garage door opener. We planted both sycamore trees, I am going to miss those the most. We planted the small palm leafs on the side and added the barrels in the flower bed.”
Agent: What are your favorite grocery stores and shops in the area?
Seller: “Publix in Gulf Shores only takes 10 minutes to get to, Target, Winn-Dixie and of course Tanger!”
Agent: Any interests or hobbies you enjoy on or near the property?
Seller: “We go to the beach a lot, Graham Creek, Orange Beach to the trails and all around us are playgrounds and splash pads. The options and variety of stuff to do are endless and very close.”
Agent: Average utility costs in summer and winter?
Seller: “Average utility cost in the summer is $150, I keep the a/c around 74-75 and the house stays very cool, in the winter average bill was $120, I kept the heat around 69-70 and it stayed warm as well. You have several weeks to a month where you can open windows and it keeps the house perfect.”
Agent: What will you miss most about living in or owning this property, as well as the surrounding community?
Seller: “The neighbors, honestly. We have an amazing mix of residents in Iberville Square. Everyone is friendly and will always stop to talk. This was our first home, we brought both our kids back to this house and have had all birthday parties and events here, and I will always love this home.”
Agent: If you don’t mind me asking, why have you decided to sell your home?
Seller: “We have two small boys who are very active and love to run and climb trees, we aren’t going far, we love Foley, we just want more space and trees.”
