There’s more to this Home For Sale Near Downtown Fairhope Alabama than meets the eye!
With the market changing into a seller’s market in Fairhope– especially with a home that is under $200k, Fairhope’s homes are now flying off the market. Some say it’s the hottest market that we have seen since the crash in 2007. Now let’s talk about this home at 209 Patrician Street. This home sits in a very quiet neighborhood smack in the middle of Fairhope which is why the current seller bought this home originally. When she was looking for a home one of the most important things to her was a quiet and welcoming neighborhood and great schools. The seller said, “The Fairhope Public schools are excellent. The elementary school is less than 3 minutes away and the intermediate is just a few blocks so my oldest daughter would always walk to school.” Being a mom of 4 girls this was super important so that she wasn’t dragged all over the place. Looking back a few of her favorite features of the home were the large kitchen and that the home had so much usable space including the keeping room off the kitchen. The curb appeal was easy to take care of, yet it just really grabbed her from the road with the established trees. She recalls that when she would pull up to her home it was always so peaceful.
With 4 kids Jennifer usually found her time mostly spent in the kitchen cooking, doing homework and just chatting about their day. Since owning the home she has added new toilets, shower heads, a garbage disposal, new light fixtures and bathroom fixtures, fresh landscaping and gutters to top it off. Also, she is a painter so of course she went ahead and freshly painted the inside of the home. Only minutes from downtown was always a real treat for them with all of the community activities that the city has for all ages.
Some of the family’s favorites times were beach days or going to the Fairhope Pier for an evening stroll. There is always something going on and this town, in general, is so active. If you don’t care for the beach then you can go walking or biking along the bay or you could attend the local Art Shows and Festivals. Being in Fairhope will always be the case for this family of 5. They just out grew this home and have already moved into their new place to call home and so now it’s time to give this home to the next owner to create memories in.
