This is a unique waterfront property, for two very important reasons. First, it offers privacy that is hard to find on Fish River in this price point, and second, it enjoys the serenity of protected water, otherwise known to boaters as “NO WAKE” zones. The ideal buyer for this property loves the privacy of nature more than an expansive view of the water, and wants to be able to float around to doc with family and friends without boats buzzing by at close range. The protected water location is safe for kids to play on lily pads and kayak up and down the river, without the constant worry over the potential for a dangerous encounter with high-speed watercraft. Now, if you’re gonna be new to life on Fish River, let me tell you about a few of my favorite things.
I love date nights by boat. Picture a moonlit night boat ride up to Big Daddy’s Grill for dinner and then anchoring out under the stars with your favorite soundtrack playing and a bottle of champagne chilling in the cooler. I love going for a boat ride after a long day at work. This is such a relaxing luxury, one that makes all the hard work you put in to get here so worth the effort. I love taking the boat to Orange Beach for the day of salt life on Robinson Island or messy cheeseburger at Pirate’s Cove. The ride back home to the river as the sun sets beneath Mobile Bay, is such an epic way to end the day. Last but certainly not least, I love July 4th on the river. This is one of those traditions you look forward to all year. You’ll join a large congregation of boats at the wide part of the river, near the mouth of Weeks Bay, for a fireworks show that rivals any you’ll find on the Alabama Gulf Coast.
