Agent: How did you know this was the home you were meant to buy?
Seller: We had been researching this area for awhile, when this home came on the market we could see the potential that this home offered, we could see that it would fit our hope for our growing family. The area, the neighborhood, the schools, the accessibility to Mobile, Pensacola and to I65, these were all things that we loved about this house. The bones of the house were great, it just needed to be updated.
Agent: What have become your top 5-10 favorite features of the home?
Seller: The location, the neighborhood, the backyard. We love having all of the bedrooms upstairs – those can stay messy and just have the first floor clean for company. We love the size of the laundry room, all of the storage this home has, the fact that all of the rooms are very spacious, and the additional features in the kitchen – like pull out drawers for pots and pans.
Agent: Where do you find yourself spending the most time in the home and why?
Seller: We spend most of our time in the kitchen, back room, and patio.

Agent: What are your favorite grocery stores and shops in the area?
Seller: The house is in the perfect location for what I call “the loop” – the road with Home Depot to Lowes, to Eastern Shore shopping and then 31 back to the house. This “loop” has everything that you need – Publix grocery store, Fresh Market, Home Depot, Lowes, Walgreens, CVS, Rite Aid, shopping, restaurants, bowling, the movies, farmers market, the causeway. Everything is located within 15 min of the house. It even has quick access to downtown Mobile. At 4th of July the fireworks are at the Battleship – you can literally see many locations having fireworks right from the causeway.
Agent: Any interests or hobbies you enjoy on or near the property?
Seller: I love taking photos out on the causeway and the Daphne Pier.
Agent: Average utility costs in summer and winter?
Seller: Our last electric bill was 113.00. Our most expensive electric bill last year was 222.00 (we keep our home at 71 in the summer for the AC and 69 in the winter for the heat). Water is usually about $15 – $20 a month. Garbage with Advanced Disposal is $43 every 3 months.
Agent: What will you miss most about living in or owning this property, as well as the surrounding community?
Seller: I will most miss the space this home has, and the great neighbors and neighborhood. Everyone looks out for each other and helps each other out in any way needed (i.e. picking up each other’s mail, bringing in the garbage cans, looking in on pets). This is a great family friendly neighborhood and it’s very quiet. This home has double paned, doubled insulated windows so it stays very quiet.
Agent: If you don’t mind me asking, why have you decided to sell your home?
Seller: We have decided to sell as it is just 2 of us in a 4-bedroom home. This house is the perfect house and location for a wonderful growing family. It needs to be filled with life, energy, laughs, and the pitter patter of little feet that a wonderful family can provide. We have loved this house and hope that the next family will love it as much as we have.
