There’s more to this Energy Efficient Home in Silverwood Subdivision, Fairhope than meets the eye!
The sellers were looking to buy and build a home in Fairhope to raise their kids in. So when coming up with the floor plan, they had the mindset of raising their kids in a safe and wonderful environment. While looking for the perfect lot, the wife said “schools were absolutely a factor in the where we would end up building our home.” They only wanted the Fairhope school system. Now that they have raised their kids in the home, their top favorite features of 9571 Silverwood Dr, are the ease of cleaning the stained concrete floors, the large yard, open floor plan for entertaining friends and their grandchildren’s friends, plenty of bedrooms, quietness of the neighborhood, being able to enjoy glorious sunsets and brilliant stars from the comfort of never leaving home.
Most of the time they spend their time in the living room when family is over. It’s so warm and inviting and perfect for just enjoying hearing about their kids’ days and anything new that is going on in their life. When it’s just the couple, they tend to relax in the bedroom after a long hard day of work. Over the years they have added a fence and focused on the landscaping by adding shrubs, trees and flowers. One of the best things about the location is they are 5 miles from Downtown, yet they are in the country to where they can gaze at the stars at night. Also they are only about 30 minutes from the beach and outlet stores!
On the weekends they love being minutes from Fish River so they can go on Fish River and take a peaceful boat ride or maybe even just jump on the golf cart with the grandkids and take a ride around the block– which they love so much. Moving is hard sometimes. The couple said that they know they will be leaving wonderful neighbors which makes it so hard to leave, and just the quietness of the neighborhood, but now that the grandkids are getting older they want land for their children and grandkids to be raised on and all live together so that they can all see each other more and more.
