Crossing the Closing Day Finish Line is No Small Feat

Who knew that so much goes into that little penciled-in note on the calendar marked “Closing Day”?! In order to make it to that important day I have ridden 4-wheelers to survey 200 hundred acres of farm land and I have taken the Dauphin Island ferry to tour Fort Morgan houses. I have held tight on fast-moving golf carts to show Fish River homes and I have climbed into a Fairhope tree house to check out the craftsmanship. While jumping over cow paddies and testing well-water samples, trust is built and friendships are formed. (Note: I now keep cowboy boots and rubber gloves in my trunk!)Interested in Fairhope Real Estate?  Tour Fairhope AL Homes For Sale online with Anne Dorman of Jason Will Real Estate 251-656-5758!

There are many reasons I chose to go into real estate, but I never imagined the celebration awaiting when we crossed that “closing day finish line!” At closing, eyes may become weary and hands may tire from all the document signing, but it is always worth it. When my clients are handed those owner keys, I am almost as excited as they are – and it doesn’t matter if it is my first-time home buyer client or my multi-property investment client. Not many decisions are bigger than buying real estate and it is an honor to be entrusted with my role in the process. When we all meet at the table on signing day our shared experiences come together for a combination of joy and relief. I wonder if a “closing day high” is a thing?…And we cannot do it alone. Our experienced team at JWRE works closely to make every step – from preparing for professional photos to lining up the movers – go smoothly for our clients. In addition, collaborating with incredible companies like Alabama Land Title can definitely help reassure out clients (Yes, wire fraud is real – and scary!). Reliable lenders like Bank of England are also supportive and quick to answer questions (No, you cannot charge your down payment on a credit card!).

And, finally I have learned that missing that last Dauphin Island ferry will result in an extra-long drive around Mobile Bay back to Orange Beach!
