Silverhill is a quaint community in Baldwin county. I like to call it a mini Fairhope. You usually can buy a home with land for a lot more affordable of a price. When I was interviewing with the sellers, the gentleman recounted his first experience of 21462 County Road 49: “It was pouring down rain and so we were hurrying to get in the home. I remember standing in the kitchen and thinking, ‘This is it. This is home.'” They chose this home due to the location, privacy and the schools. They said, “We really love the country, our good neighbors, and hanging out by the pool during spring and summer. When it cools off, there is nothing better than sitting by the fire just to relax.”

Since owning the home, the sellers have added the driveway, finished the upstairs bonus room, remodeled the kitchen, and added the pool house. According to the sellers, “One of the great things about our location is we are close to multiple stores to include Walmart and Publix, and the Eastern Shore Shopping Center is only about 20 minutes away or you can shop locally in downtown Silverhill at the quaint shops that have been opened. We even recently just got a ice cream shop!

The sellers are at a different stage in life now and are looking to downsize. They no longer need a 5 bedroom home. They really are going to miss the neighbors mostly and just the gorgeous wide open land that their beautiful home sits on, that holds so many memories.
