Community Yoga: How We Are Reaching The Beginner

Yoga has become a very popular means of physical exercise and spiritual practice in the western world.

It has typically been prevalent among the privileged portion of society but upon growing deeper into this practice, I have learned that it is a very important key factor in nudging children and adults in all walks of life into a new way of doing life.

In order to reach people who may feel intimidated by yoga or who would like to learn more about what yoga means for the mind, body, and soul, we have launched Community Yoga classes! These take place completely FREE OF CHARGE in our local public parks in Baldwin County. At this time we have 3 free practices per week where we welcome beginner and experienced yogis! That’s the beauty of yoga, the practice truly meets you where you are. The teachers assigned to each Community Class are newbies and are refining their practices as well! It is a total Win/Win.  We have plenty of mats so bring your friends!

Our current schedule is as follows:

Wednesday: Meyer Park, Gulf Shores at 6:00pm, with Lani Graddick

Thursday:  The Bluff, Fairhope at 6pm with Amy Wilson

Friday: Graham Creek Nature Preserve, Foley, 9:30am with Amy Wilson
