Jason:  What have become your top 5-10 favorite features of the home?

Seller:  “I love the setting with the mature oaks and pastures in back.  We’ve had satsumas, Meyers lemons, tons of pecans, and fresh chicken eggs here.  Inside the house I’ve enjoyed the spaciousness, flow, prettiness, and large storage areas. My husband loves the bonus room/man cave area and we both love the beautiful deck and yards. The fenced backyard was important to us for our little dogs.  We’ve had the best neighbors you could ever want and share the back property with the owners.  Lots of swinging trees and gardening opportunities.  I want to take my house with me.  It has been good to us.”

Jason:  What improvements have you made to the home or property over the years?

Seller:  “Improvements include granite, backsplash, updated cabinets, new appliances, new paint everywhere including trim and doors, new tile in master bath, new light fixtures, 2 new toilets, refinished shower and new shower door, painted in garage including floor, new 4×coat on porches and deck, new outdoor light fixtures on front porch and new door hardware, new Windows in many rooms , added kitchen pantry.”

Jason:  What are your favorite grocery stores and shops in the area?

Seller:  “Nearby favorites include Fish River Grill, Big Daddy’s restaurant (about 5 minutes)  Fairhope shopping and pier/park.  25 mins from beaches.  Favorite-chocolate roulage at Two Sister’s bakery on the bay drive in Fairhope.”

Jason:  Average utility costs in summer and winter?

Seller:  “Power app. $210 monthly.”

Jason:  If you don’t mind me asking, why have you decided to sell your home?

Seller:  “I love my house. We are moving away after recently retiring to be with our daughter and new granddaughter.”
