JWRE: “What were the deciding factors or major selling features that led you to buy this home?”
Seller: “My history with the home is not all that glamorous, as I am pretty practical guy. I simply need to adjust our living situation, since I had recently gotten married and we thought this home had an ideal floor plan for a family.”
JWRE: “What would you say are your favorite design details?”
Seller: “There is plenty of storage in Kitchen and in the entire house for that matte. We also appreciated the solid, hard surface and easy to clean floors, the oversized garage, the attractiveness of neighborhood, as well as it being in a quiet country type setting with nearby access to major retail stores.”
JWRE: “What are your favorite living spaces in the home?”
Seller: “I’d have to say the Florida room, as it’s close to the kitchen and it is also where we had our main TV, all the windows to look out into the yard and back patio, where we would often grill-out as a family. I personally spent a great deal of time relaxing on the front porch, listening to the sounds of the lake and watching the birds hover overhead.”
JWRE: “What improvements have you made to the property since the purchase?”
Seller: “The house was in great shape when we bought it and we have been especially careful to maintain the pristine nature of the condition, yet we did install new blinds, built a workbench in the garage and added plywood in the attic for extra storage space.”
JWRE: “Any interests or hobbies you enjoy near the property?”
Seller: “There is a tennis court in the subdivision and within a few minutes bicycle ride to a great park area with many tennis courts and a wonderful public pool. There are also some fantastic mountain bike trials in the nearby woods.”
JWRE: “What is an approximate monthly average for your utility costs in summer and winter?”
Seller: “North Baldwin Utilities for water, natural gass and trash removal runs about $135 and Alabama Power is roughly $140.”
JWRE: “What will you miss most about life at 703 Northshore Drive?”
Seller: “The pleasantly quiet neighborhood, where we would often take quiet walks. We are also an easy bike ride to the park and simply enjoy being surrounded the natural beauty of the area. As I mentioned prior, I loved relaxing on the front porch or hanging out as a family on the back patio with the smell of the grill permeating the fresh, country air. The great open spaces and functioanlity of the floor plan made it a great place to host parties and get-togethers during the holidays. It’s really a well designed family home.”
