Bayshore Towers is not your typical beach condominium complex! You will not be able to take an elevator ride down to the lobby and be a short walk, through a sea of vacation renters, to our coveted white sandy beaches. This twin tower development is located on the shallow shores of Bayou St. John, overlooking Perdido Pass, complete with a marina and beautiful green space, ideal for walking your dog. You will also find beautiful tennis courts set beneath mature trees, as opposed to a roof top or parking lot location.
If you are looking for a more peaceful vacation environment, then you will appreciate the more mild environment created by the rent restricted policy of Bayshore Towers. Only long-term tenants are allowed and the this being a luxury development, it commands high rents and high-end residents. This is more of a second home or seasonal retirement destination for the majority of the ownership. This creates a quality community environment, where close relationships are fostered and the event calendar is filled with familiar faces, that will grow into lifelong friends.
Another big draw of Bayshore Towers is the luxury interior living spaces of the units, complete with some of the most unique views available on the Alabama Gulf Coast. Your typical gulf front condominium view is one that does not offer much of a contrast. The scenery captured through the floor to ceiling windows, although beautiful, is limited to sand, sun and miles upon miles of the Gulf of Mexico. The back bay condo views feature more wildlife, such as daily dolphin sightings and brown pelicans hovering over the water in their hunting formation. You also get to watch boats traveling through the channel markers, along with the changing of the tide and at night you get the to see a panoramic view of the coastal South Alabama landscape illuminated with lights from the surrounding high-rise developments.
For me personally, the biggest advantage of the location would be the marina and the boat access to so many local hot spots and secluded picnic spots. In my opinion, being able to navigate the area by boat offers a much more well rounded vacation experience. The area offers incredible inshore and offshore fishing for avid anglers, as well as the joy of teaching your kids and grandkids how to both ski and fish. I love to go hang with the locals on Robinson Island during festive holiday weekends, travel over to Pensacola for the annual Blue Angels air show or simply ride over to Pirate’s Cove for one of the best cheeseburgers on the gulf coast!
